Ski Like That.
Winter is almost over and spring will soon be upon us. Green grass ascends from the barren ground, beautiful flowers begin to blossom, and leafless trees come back to life. Spring means new life and prosperity to many, but to others it means it’s time to go skiing. There are a couple reasons why people would rather take a ski trip in the spring:
It’s Cheaper - Late season is low season, so lift passes and accommodation cost considerably less than during mid-winter.
It’s Sunnier - In general the weather is more pleasant towards the end of winter. You can expect more sun, longer daylight hours, and longer lift opening times. What better way is there to enjoy the extra daylight hours than on the slopes?
It’s Quieter - Skiing and snowboarding in late season means fewer people on the slopes, which means less traffic, and less chance of getting stuck in those lift queues. With less people on the slopes, it also makes for a more comfortable learning experience. Never tried snowboarding? Spring is the best time to learn.
To find the perfect resort for spring skiing, follow the general rule of thumb: head high, head north. To find the perfect ski instructor, visit SkiLikeThat.com. With so many professionals out there, we want to make it easier for you. SkiLikeThat.com is free, which means all instructors have to do is sign up with an email address and fill out a small bio. The mountains are not close to everyone, so deciding on instructors at the resort usually turns into a game of choosing a name from a list. With SkiLikeThat.com you can already choose the pro and request them ahead of time. This benefits the resort, the instructor, and you! It makes planning easier and gives you an idea of what to expect when you make it to the mountains.
Whether you’re trying to catch the tail end of winter, or waiting for the perks of spring skiing, let SkiLikeThat.com help plan your trip.
