Featurithe Newly Published Nannie Sharon’s Cookbook: Gluten-Free, Low-Salt, Low-Fat Recipes
The Lines and Wine event Wednesday, May 22, at Renewed Med Spa (behind Grub Burger) will feature Sharon Richard Hardy, known among loved ones as Nannie Sharon. Nannie Sharon will share her journey about living a healthy lifestyle and dealing with the dietary restrictions that inspired the recipes included in her new book,  Nannie Sharon’s Cookbook: Gluten-Free, Low-Salt, Low-Fat Recipes. Over 150 recipes were developed during her many years of dealing with gluten intolerance, Hashimoto’s, and GERD, that required Hardy to follow a specific diet for optimum health and wellness.
“These recipes are what I still cook every day for my family,” Hardy continued. “These are my basics. They’re simple, healthy, easy and straightforward. As a nurse, helping people is my first instinct. My hope is that this recipe book can give people some relief knowing that other people understand their struggle. Special diets can at first seem overwhelming. I have eaten these recipes every day for years and I’ve never been healthier.”
