Tensas Idea (Hip #99), a filly by Ide out of the Dehere mare Xylophone brought $55,000 for consignor Elysian Bloodstock in day one of the Breeders Sale Company of Louisiana, Inc. two day yearling sale. She is a full sister to Tensas Yucatan, a multiple stakes winner of $432,877 from 3 to 5 (2009), and a half-sister to stakes placed winners Tensas Phone Call and Tensas Palmyra. The filly was purchased by Roger G. Smith.
Main Man Lee (Hip #122) also sold for $55,000. The colt by Kafwain, out of the Seeking The Gold mare, Another Zone was consigned by Clear Creek Stud, agent. Coming from an impressive family, the colt is half brother to stakes winner Half Mine, and stakes placed winners First Lieutenant and Cointreau. The colt was purchased by Triple R Stable.
Following closely behind the sale toppers, Hip #126, a filly by Leestown out of the Forest Wildcat mare, Art of Illusion sold for $50,000 to Herb Lambert. Consigned by 4M Ranch, agent, the filly is half-sister to stakes winner My Spanx.
