Behind The Scenes Done Right

Jurassic Park is re-released today in 3D - most of us can't wait to catch it in theaters! We found this video this week - how the Tyrannosaurus Rex was constructed from beginning to end - and even though it is 10 minutes long, which is pretty long for recreational internet viewing, we couldn't miss one second.

The content here is so informative and transparent that we couldn't stop watching - we wanted to know more!

This is a great behind the scenes video. The content is so rich that they didn't need to do anything fancy at all and we really don't mind.

We're big fans of beautiful marketing products - who isn't? But when it comes down to the heart of the matter, it's about the content.

If you have something to say, don't worry about how professional it looks or if it has pretty graphics and music. All that comes later, and anyone can do that. What makes our clients special is what they have to say, what they can contribute and share. What is it that you do that sets you apart?

That's where we bring the most value to your company. We help determine your message and give you the confidence to yell it from the rooftops (in your target market, of course). We prompt you about what's important to you, what your product or service is about. We help you figure out the big picture and then zoom in on what's important to your customers so we can help you sell it. That's what we do. That's what's important to us.

Reputation Management

According to a survey described in the March 18 issue of ADWEEK, people are feeling the pressure to manage their reputation, on and offline.

Check out the article here.

The same goes for businesses. The internet has made the job of public relations and marketing so much more broad - some businesses have trouble even finding, much less understanding, the sources of public opinion and how to make them work for their company.

That's where Calzone comes in. We can help businesses find out what their market is saying about them, what people who aren't their market are saying about them, and why both of those are so. Then we help businesses use current resources and create their own content to manage their reputation online and offline, with their target market and the public as a whole.

We find that being proactive instead of reactive works best for many companies when it comes to reputation management. We're here to help.

Live Web Events - #FuzziBunzChat

You may remember the last time we talked about marketing here - Calzone puts an emphasis on talking to the right people. Once you know the people who would be willing to buy your product or service, all you have to do is talk to them and close the sale.

But here's the thing: You have to speak their language. You have to go where they are. You have to make yourself known. If your market doesn't know about what you're up to or how you can help them, how are they supposed to know to buy your product over your competitor's?

That's why we tapped into live chat events on the web. These chats are most prevalent on Twitter, but can be found on other sites, as well. Monday night we created such a buzz about our #FuzziBunzChat that we were trending on Twitter, and everyone talking about #ClothDiapers that night knew about what we were doing. Over 20,000 people saw just two of our announcement posts on Facebook (without paying for promotion!) and that number is still growing.

We analyzed the FuzziBunz social media and web stats and chose just the right time to have a great conversation with their excited fans all over the world.

Catch up on what everyone said and watch the video everyone was talking about by visiting FuzziBunz.com/FuzziBunzChat.

Talk To The Right People

The best way to convey any kind of message is through direct communication. Conversations are where businesses begin and end, and if you're not having the right conversations with the right people, your business is doomed.

Yes, I said it. Doomed. Your business may continue on, but you're making things WAY more difficult than they need to be if you aren't talking to the right people.

This is where strategic planning and marketing come in.

Calzone is a full-service agency, which means we make sure our clients have everything they need on all fronts. There's no point in developing a good marketing strategy for their current and potential customers if no one in the company knows what they're supposed to be doing.

Our strategic planning services help our clients get grounded in who they are, what they're offering, and why their market needs them. Then our marketing services make sure our client's message gets to their target market and furthermore, converts to sales.

Again, no one cares about a fantastic marketing strategy if none of it is converting to sales. We want our clients' businesses to grow, we want to help enrich their market's lives, and we want everyone involved to feel a sense of wealth - of time, money, energy, enthusiasm, or support.

That's what we do. We create wealth with our conversations.

Give us a call at 337-235-2924 ext. 12 to start a conversation that will create wealth for your company.

Unitech Training Academy Unveils New Website

(Lafayette, La.) – Unitech Training Academy has recently unveiled a new website designed by Calzone, a Louisiana-based full-service advertising, marketing, and public relations firm.

The new website offers an appealing color palette and information layout for effortless navigation. In the header is a search field, where site visitors can easily find what they’re looking for. Also in the header are calls to action: schedule a visit, apply now, and request info. These calls to action are available in the left sidebar throughout the site, and make finding out more information an easy next step for any visitor. Links to social media are prevalent so visitors can connect with the school in places other than the website.

Success stories with photos bring the campus and its training to life as a rotating set of images ask the visitor, “Are you ready for the training you deserve?” Unitech Training Academy was founded to provide hard-working individuals the skills and training they need to nurture productive careers. A growing list of campuses is available at the bottom of the homepage; contacting a certain campus is made simple. Newsletter sign up keeps those interested updated about events, new programs, new campuses, current student and graduate success stories and much more.

Social media integration brings the Unitech Training Academy website to the public through YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. Further, the Unitech Training Academy Facebook page provides a separate tab for each campus that mirrors the site’s design. Each tab provides contact information and a newsletter sign up specifically for each campus, which makes targeting messages to different publics much more streamlined, efficient and practical.

“We wanted our website to reflect the professionalism we practice here at Unitech Training Academy,” says Samantha Cole, Director of Marketing at Unitech Training Academy. “Our school trains students to be professional and effective in their careers and we think that comes across in the new design from Calzone. It’s clean, simple, and easy to navigate. Our website is the starting point for most of our students and we think the design creates the correct impression of scholarship that our students are seeking.”

About Unitech Training Academy
Beginning with one program in 1997, the Certified Nursing Assistant program, the school now offers many other programs such as Dental Assisting, Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonography, Medical Assistant, Computer Information Systems, EKG/Phlebotomy Technician, Physical Therapy Technician, Pharmacy Technician Preparedness, Administrative Medical Assistant and Massage Therapy. With campuses in Lake Charles, Lafayette, Houma, Alexandria, West Monroe and Metairie, Unitech strives to meet the needs and demands of the community and surrounding parishes. The school believes that the training  it does directly and appropriately reflects from its students' performance, attitude and capability of their work. Unitech Training Academy also realizes the overwhelming need in the community for professionally trained persons. It is Unitech Training Academy's philosophy to provide the community with a choice of desirable, productive, and well-trained individuals.

Calzone Producing Websites as Strategic Marketing Tools

Calzone, Louisiana-based full-service advertising agency, is producing websites as strategic marketing tools for its clients.

Full-service agencies have had to transform themselves with the digital age. The mechanism for engaging customers has shifted as the Internet and its providers create new platforms for communication. “Full-service agencies need to remember that they are in the communication business,” Julie Calzone, CEO of Calzone, says. “We create connections and community for our clients.”

Calzone understands that traditional media and new media platforms and integration continue to evolve and morph. Calzone continues, “Each one of our clients has its own digital sphere/core website that social media and other platforms are integrated into to maximize performance and results for the client. While most agencies are still touting ‘branding’ as their core strategy, Calzone’s client initiatives have evolved to ‘engagement’ strategies. We are relentless in our efforts and work flow to ensure that ‘engagement’ strategies are tactically effective and results driven. We create the conversations and more often are leading them.”
